Every hit "snooze" one too many times? A study showed women need slightly more sleep than men because of their changing hormones. And the longing for more sleep can easily leave us non-morning people with little time to look put together for the day. But with a few quick tricks with a simple makeup routine your look can be nice and polished.
First, start with a good base. A multi-purpose base like a BB or CC cream is the key to a quick routine while still looking like you spent more than 5 minutes on your makeup. Simply apply this layer with your fingers for an easy quick routine. A BB cream is going to give more of a moisturized and natural look while CC cream is a good choice for someone with discolorations or redness they want to smooth over using a little more coverage.
Got those dark circles you want to hide away in a closet somewhere and look bright and busy tailed? Concealer is your best friend. Use a shade of concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone and dab a dot on the lower inner corner of your eye and one on the outer edge. Simply blend by tapping either with a small brush or your finger to brighten up under the eyes. Pro tip: Use a hydrating, plumping concealer to help the process even more - especially for those of us who aren't in our 20s anymore.
Add some color: A cream blush is a quick fix! It can double as your blush and lip tint! Can you say easy peezy?!
Let's talk finishing touches: brows and lashes. Use an easy to use tinted brow gel to sweep through your brows and grab a lengthening mascara for your lashes. Voila - done!
At this point if you have any oily areas or shine you want to control use a little dab of setting powder and it will help for the day. For added "stay power" use a spritz of setting powder.
